Terms of Service

Last updated: March 1, 2026

Welcome to Duedou! These Terms of Service outline how we work together to keep the platform useful, fair, and safe for everyone. Duedou is designed to be your academic companion — helping you organize your courses, track progress, and access study resources. By using Duedou, you agree to these straightforward terms.

1Getting Started

By creating an account and using Duedou, you confirm that:

  • You are a current or prospective university student, or an authorized member of the academic community.
  • You are at least sixteen (16) years of age.
  • The information you provide during registration is accurate and you’ll keep it updated.

2What Duedou Offers

Duedou is built to make your academic life easier. Here’s what you get:

  • Syllabus management: Organized course syllabi for your department and semester, with progress tracking for each topic.
  • Past questions: Curated exam resources organized by course to help you prepare effectively.
  • Personal notes: A private note-taking space where your study materials are always saved and accessible.
  • Progress tracking: Visual charts showing your weekly progress, completion rates, and skill milestones to keep you motivated.
  • Schedule management: Tools for managing your class routine, attendance, and academic calendar.
  • Additional resources: Access to teacher notes, study materials, and student-built projects from your community.

The more you use Duedou, the more value you’ll get — track your syllabus consistently and watch your progress grow over the semester.

3Your Account

Your account is your personal space on Duedou. To keep it secure:

  • Provide accurate information when signing up — your real name, email, Class ID, department, and section.
  • Choose a strong password and keep it private. You’re responsible for everything that happens under your account.
  • Use only one account per person — creating duplicate accounts is not recommended and may result in restricted access.
  • Don’t share your login with others. Your account is personal to you.

4Using Duedou Responsibly

Duedou works best when everyone uses it respectfully. Please don’t:

  • Use the platform for anything other than legitimate academic purposes.
  • Try to access data or features you’re not authorized to use.
  • Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to download content in bulk.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or interfere with the platform’s security.
  • Upload harmful content or introduce malicious code.

5Content & Your Work

The study resources on Duedou (syllabi, questions, projects) are provided for your personal academic use. Please don’t redistribute or commercially use them.

Your personal notes and anything you create within Duedou remain yours. We only store and display them to provide the service to you — we never claim ownership of your work.

6Privacy

Your privacy matters to us. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what data we collect and how we protect it. The key points:

  • We collect only what’s needed to make Duedou work for you.
  • Your data is encrypted and protected by industry-standard security.
  • We never sell or share your personal information.
  • No third-party tracking or advertising.

7Platform Updates

We’re always working to make Duedou better. This means:

  • We may add new features, update the interface, or improve existing functionality.
  • Occasional maintenance or updates may cause brief interruptions — we’ll try to schedule these at low-traffic times.
  • We’ll communicate significant changes in advance when possible.

8Account Actions

We want everyone to have a great experience on Duedou. If someone violates these terms — by sharing accounts, abusing the platform, or acting in bad faith — we may need to restrict or suspend their access. If your account is ever affected, we’ll do our best to communicate the reason clearly.

9Important Notes

Duedou is a academic companion — it’s here to help you organize and prepare, but academic outcomes ultimately depend on your effort. We provide resources “as is” and can’t guarantee specific grades or results.

10Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. When we do:

  • We’ll post the updated version here with a new date.
  • Material changes will be communicated through the platform.
  • Continuing to use Duedou after changes means you accept the updated terms.
